Milena Djankovic wanted to find a product that will allow mothers to move more freely even as they care for their babies. The entrepreneur and mother of two started RockerMama as she was searching for a practical solution to rocking babies to sleep to help fellow parents. This led her to conceptualize and create the Ready Rocker™ with her husband, Mladen.

While designing their creation, Milena Djankovic learned that a baby is rocked a million repetitions during the first year of their lives. The movement of rocking provides comfort and reduces colic. It also stimulates the vestibular system that controls equilibrium, increases motor development, and improves the regulation of breathing. Their invention then became a practical solution that allows every caregiver to have the luxury of rocking their babies anytime, anywhere. The design of the Ready Rocker™ takes the pressure off a parent’s back and joints as she rocks her baby. Through the product, Milena hopes to see fellow parents cherish their time with their babies even with all their other responsibilities.
